Signature Healthcare Buys Into Skilled Home Health with New Acquisition

Louisville, Kentucky-based Signature Healthcare is getting into the skilled home health services arena with its acquisition of Florida-based ConfiCare Home Health Solutions, reports Louisville Business First.

Since the purchase—the price of which was not disclosed—closed on March 1, the company has been renamed Signature HomeNow and retains a headquarters in Louisville.

The acquisition, will enable Signature to provide skilled home health care to its service offerings, which already included skilled nursing and rehabilitation, as well as acute care. Prior to the acquisition, Signature provided non-skilled home health care services.

The company also hired an additional 200 employees with the acquisition, according to Louisville Business First, and plans to eventually bring both skilled and non-skilled home care to all Signature markets.

Several markets now served by Signature HomeNow include Florida markets such as Jacksonville, Daytona, Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers.
