A company that manages senior living communities in Ohio and Florida is expanding its footprint in The Sunshine State with the acquisition of a Tampa-area home health agency.
Greystone Healthcare Management Corp., which manages skilled nursing, assisted living and home health communities in Ohio and Florida, announced Tuesday the signing of a definitive agreement to purchase the Medicare Certified Home Health and Private Duty Nursing business of Senior Solutions Home Health Care, LLC.
The addition of Senior Solutions will expand the senior living provider’s service offerings in Florida’s Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties.
“The acquisition brings one of the highest quality care providers in the area to the Greystone Health Network,” stated Connie Bessler, CEO of Greystone Healthcare Management Corp., in a release. “Providing excellent care and the highest standard of service has always been our primary goal and we are beyond excited to welcome the exceptional employees of Senior Solutions Home Health Care to the Greystone family.”
Both companies are currently working to ensure a smooth transition for employees and all the patients Senior Solutions serves, Greystone stated in the release.
“Our first priorities are our parents and our staff,” Bessler stated. “We will continue to provide the state-of-the-art care that our patients are accustomed to throughout this acquisition process while Senior Solutions Home Health Care employees enter the fold at Greystone.”
Terms of the acquisition, including price, were not disclosed. Subject to customary regulatory approvals and conditions, the transaction is expected to close within the next 60 days.
