N.J., Massachusetts Home Health and Hospice Agencies Rebrand as Ascend

Several home health and hospice agencies in New England recently rebranded to join the Ascend family of companies.

Care Alternatives, Total Care, BergenCare Home Health, BergenCare Personal Touch and Total Care of Massachusetts last week completed their rebranding efforts to carry the Ascend name, a move that the parent company believes will not only better communicate their services, but will also maintain continuity in the care these companies provide.

“We’re very proud of this transformation, and only see Ascend growing and improving even more from here,” stated Anthony Spero, president of Ascend. “Although the names of these companies have changed, they still provide the same unparalleled service for each and every one of our patients.”

The Ascend family of companies now includes Ascend Hospice, formerly Care Alternatives; Ascend Home Health, formerly BergenCare Home Health and Total Care of Massachusetts; Ascend Concierge Home Care, formerly BergenCare Personal Touch; and Ascend Rehab.

Rebranding efforts included overhauls to each company’s logos, websites, vision and values, as well as rolling out new internal and external communication plans and creating new sales collateral for marketing.

“Through the newly branded Ascend Hospice, Ascend Home Health and Ascend Concierge Home Care companies, we’ll strive to exceed the expectations of those who rely on us for quality health care options,” stated Spero. “And backed by our team of executives with extensive experience in the clinical, financial and business management industries, I’m confident we’ll continue to bring great value to patients and their families.”
