Care Worker Set Up Client for Home Invasion

A home care worker in Florida recently confessed that she set up her quadriplegic employer for a home invasion, according to local reports.

Akeila Hinds was arrested Wednesday and charged with home invasion robbery. She is currently out on bond.

“Surveillance cameras captured two people robbing the upscale home in Winter Garden early Wednesday,” explains local NBC affiliate WESH. “Police said Hinds admitted to unlocking the door for them and even warning them that there was a child inside.”
