Monday Briefing: Pre-Claim Paused

Happy Monday! After a gloomy weekend in Chicago, we are back to bring you the brightest news across the home health care industry.

The controversial Pre-Claim Review Demonstration (PCRD) was put on pause last week in Illinois and won’t begin in Florida for an unspecified time. The news came late Friday afternoon, and the decision was largely supported by industry organizations.

Also on Friday, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) submitted a proposal to delay the home health Conditions of Participation (CoPs).
