Sodexo Appoints New CEO 

Sodexo, a quality of life services provider with more than 100 services, has named its current CEO of benefits and rewards services and personal and home services, and group chief digital officer, Denis Machuel, to succeed Michael Landel as CEO and chairman of the executive committee, effective January 2018.

Landel announced his intention to retire and will step down at the annual general shareholders’ meeting on Jan. 23, 2018. For a smooth transition, Machuel will become deputy CEO of Sodexo as of Sept. 1, 2017. He will work alongside Landel, who retains full executive responsibility for Sodexo’s strategy and management during the period leading up to his departure. Landel will remain on the board of directors for the duration of his term, until January 2020.

Springpoint Senior Living Promotes Anthony A. Argondizza to CEO

Springpoint Senior Living, New Jersey’s largest nonprofit provider of housing and services for seniors, with seven continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), 19 affordable housing communities and home care services, has promoted Anthony A. Argondizza to CEO. Argondizza has served as president of the company since September 2016. He succeeds Gary Puma, who is retiring from Springpoint after 39 years of service.

In his new role as CEO and president, Argondizza will navigate the company along its growth path, pursue further business development opportunities and oversee the company’s entire portfolio of senior housing and service brands under Springpoint.

Argondizza and Puma have worked together over the past 10 months to transfer all remaining responsibilities in anticipation of Puma’s retirement on July 1, 2017.

Argondizza first joined Springpoint in 1994 as administrator and assistant executive director at Crestwood Manor, a Springpoint Senior Living CCRC in Whiting, New Jersey. He was vice president of CCRC operations in 2001, vice president of operations in 2006, senior vice president in 2010, COO in 2012 and executive vice president in 2014 before being appointed president in 2016.

Complia Health Promotes Two Executives

Complia Health, an enterprise software provider for long-term and post-acute care provider organizations, promoted two employees. Scott Overhill has been promoted to chief strategy officer, and Isaac Alexander has been promoted to chief technology officer.

Both are founding members of the Complia Health executive team. Overhill has more than 27 years of experience in home and community care sector, including leadership roles within Complia. He will lead global product strategy and product management teams.

Alexander will focus on the Procura solution portfolio. His areas of expertise include software technology, including solution architecture, reconstruction and refactoring, technology standardization and product modernization.

VNA Health Care Names New CFO

VNA Health Care, which provides affordable health care to 65,000 women, men and children in Kane, DuPage and Will counties in Illinois, has appointed Don Klink as vice president of finance/chief financial officer.

In this role, he is responsible for VNA’s financial administration, including budgeting and financial and regulatory reporting, as well as overseeing revenue management, accounting operations and payroll.

Klink brings more than 25 years of experience as a senior level finance executive to the role. Previously, Klink worked in the health care field for Hudson Global, Accretive Health and Addus Homecare Corp. (Nasdaq: ADUS).

SelectData Adds New Board Member

SelectData, a home care revenue cycle management and medical coding company, has appointed Mark S. Heaney to its board of directors.

Heaney has 38 years of experience in the home care and hospice sector, and previously served as CEO of Addus Homecare, where he worked for 31 years in various roles including president, CEO and chairman of the board. He is the principal of DTRT Health Advisors, a health care consultancy specializing in population health management.

He has also served as a board member with the National Association of Home Care & Hospice (NAHC), Medicaid Homecare Association of America, National Private Duty Home Care Association, and Merit and Tradewinds Social Services. In addition, Heaney has served on state and local government Medicaid-related task groups and advisory boards to help shape public policy.

HHAeXchange Adds New VP of Sales

HHAeXchange, a home care software company, has named Scott Schawrtz as vice president of sales.

In this role, Schwartz will run regional sales and operations and focus on expanding the company’s provider market presence. He will work closely with the executive team to establish providers’ sales processes while opening new regional markets.

Previously, Schwartz founded CampSite, a SaaS-based customer relationship management (CRM) technology geared toward summer camp and school industries, and grew the company to more than $3 million in revenue in under three years. He has also held sales leadership positions at OrderGroove, Indian Head Camp and Ducon Technologies Inc.

corecubed Adds Home Care Sales Training to its Service Line-Up

corecubed, a marketing firm for in-home care providers, is partnering with Shelle Womble to provide sales training to home care agencies across the country.

Womble has worked as a home health senior executive and drove sales and profit for ResCare, the country’s largest privately owned home care company.
