Compatible Home Care Names Former Starbucks Exec as COO

Compatible Home Care (CHC) announced that John Alderson has ben hired as Chief Operating Officer of the home care services provider.

Prior to joining CHC, Alderson was a senior vice president with Starbucks, successfully growing their franchise systems and will help to fuel its nationwide expansion.

“We are ecstatic to have John join our leadership team in such a pivotal role, at such an important time in our company’s growth,” said Kimberly Gerber, president of CHC. “In addition to having a robust and successful track record of corporate and franchise system management, John is also aligned with our philosophy, vision and goals for the company.”

During his tenure with Starbucks, Alderson was responsible for taking the chain from 250 to nearly 1,000 stores, and making its division the most profitable worldwide says CHC.

“In addition to my corporate experience in supporting growing franchise systems, I also have the perspective of being a franchise owner myself. My entire career has been spent cultivating teams to lead the successful growth of multi-unit organizations and my ability to recognize the unique needs of each franchisee,” Alderson said. “I believe deeply in the Compatible Home Care concept, and appreciate the confidence the leadership team has in me to play a role in taking the franchise system to the next level in the senior home care industry.”
