LivHome to Utilize Independa’s CloudCare Services for Home Care

LivHome, one of the nation’s largest providers of at home care for seniors will use Independa’s CouldCare services to incorporate social engagement and remote monitoring for health and safety.

The platform allows for unified remote care solutions and enables professional caregivers to cost-effectively improve and expand their services while extending and enriching independence for older adults.

“The system we have developed collaboratively will allow LivHOME care managers to provide broader, higher-level care,” said Kian Saneii, Independa CEO. “For example, they will remotely monitor how care recipients follow medication schedules and keep doctors’ appointments, and be alerted to potential emergencies. Care managers will also introduce the people they care for to fun new ways to stay connected.”

LivHome will brand the product as LivIndependa and is expected to launch in late spring said the company.

The service will include automated medication and appointment reminders; caregiver monitoring; check-in calls; recorded life stories; and one-touch access for seniors to email, video chat, games, Internet browsing, and photos.

“Independa has worked closely with us to apply its technology to meet our specific needs for a system that will enable us to quickly, easily expand the scope and depth of care we provide,” said Mike Nicholson, CEO of LivHOME. “The seniors we serve, as well as their caregivers, will enjoy a multitude of benefits from the unobtrusive monitoring and other interconnected health, safety and social engagement services we will be adding under the LivIndependa umbrella.”

Elderly users need not learn to operate a general-purpose computer, navigate with a mouse or type on a keyboard. An intuitive interface will virtually link care managers with care recipients.
