Home Health International Acquires DME Company

Home Health International (HHI) announced it has closed on the acquisition of Faya’s Medical Equipment, a licensed Florida based durable medical equipment (DME) company. 

Started in 2006, Faya’s Medical is located in Hialeah, Florida and provides ambulation aids, disposable supplies, mobility aids, respiratory equipment and sickroom setup.

HHI has been busy as of late, in April the company signed a letter of intent to acquire Associated Home Health. Last week the company hired Elizabeth Velozo as president and CEO as well. 

“I am very excited to be joining Home Health International,” Velozo said in a company press release. “I believe that my diverse and extensive experience in the healthcare industry will greatly benefit the company and its shareholders as we focus on an aggressive growth strategy over the next year.
