Clinical care software provider Brightree today announced it is partnering with Strategic AR, a company focused on automated billing services for home medical equipment providers.
The companies will collaborate on marketing and product development to improve the payment process for home health providers.
“Patient collection has recently become a critical issue as HME providers redefine their business models to accommodate for the sharp decline in Medicare reimbursement rates and rapid adoption of high-deductible insurance plans,” said Dave Cormack, president and CEO of Brightree. “Using staff to manually call patients is no longer an option for many providers.”
Strategic AR uses voice response and online technologies in the payment process, with the Brightree billing platform allowing users to identify patients in need of contact, cutting down on time to post payments and streamlining the process for those using both systems.
