Home Care Assistance, a provider of home health across the U.S., is expanding its presence in Canada with the opening of a new office in Toronto.
Home Care Assistance of Toronto joins the company’s other Canadian offices located in Vaughn, a city north of Toronto, and Oakville, a suburb in Southern Ontario.
The company expanded its offerings north of the border to meet the growing demand for in-home care services among seniors in the Toronto area, the company said in a release.
“I am excited to share what makes Home Care Assistance unique in the home care industry and I am confident this new location will be a great resource for the residents of Toronto and surrounding areas,” said Edward Lee, client care manager of Home Care Assistance.
Aside from hourly and live-in home care, some of the services Home Care Assistance provides include companionship and assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming.
The company also provides patients with transportation to doctor appointments and other errands such as grocery shopping, cooking and light housekeeping.
The Toronto location marks the opening of the 80th office in North America for the Palo Alto, California-based home care company.
