Home health services providers Jordan Health Services and Healthcare Innovations Private Services recently announced a merger of the two organizations, which will now serve around 22,000 patients in 61 locations throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
Jordan Health Services is based in Dallas, Texas, while Healthcare Innovations is the largest case management and Medicaid home health services provider in Oklahoma. The combined entity will offer personal care, case management, skilled nursing, pediatric, and hospice services.
“We are extremely excited about this transaction and welcome the dedicated and talented staff of HCIPS into the Jordan family,” said Dean Holland, Executive Chairman and CEO of Jordan, in a statement. “HCIPS is an ideal fit for Jordan as we look to further diversify our business mix and aggressively expand our footprint in the southwest region of the U.S.”
The merger meets the expansion objectives of both organizations, both in a geographical sense and in terms of services offered.
“Jordan is an outstanding choice as a partner as we seek to continue to grow our Medicaid, skilled care, and hospice operations,” said Jeff Fisher, president of HCIPS. “We look forward to integrating these two strong companies as we strive to become the pre-eminent regional provider of home care and hospice services in the southwestern United States.”
An affiliate of Jordan Health’s financial partner, private equity firm Palladium Equity Partners LLC, led the transaction, the terms of which were not disclosed. Fisher will become part of the Jordan executive team, while HCIPS will continue to operate under its trade name in Oklahoma for the foreseeable future.
