Home Health Tech Provider Launches New Caregiver App

New to the home care tech market, AtHoc today announced the release of a new smartphone app that will allow home health caregivers the ability to access its program remotely.

The technology allows home health care companies to track personnel in the field and enables personnel to report emergencies via smartphone.

The app is being marketed as a safety measure among companies that employ caregivers.

“Our latest innovation helps home health care leaders safeguard the security of their valued workforce and provides situational awareness of incidents,” said Guy Miasnik, chief executive officer at AtHoc. “AtHoc has a strong and rapidly growing presence in healthcare, helping leading providers with their day-to-day critical communications, including the entire Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Baylor Health Care Systems, Scott & White Health System and Kaiser Permanente Northern California.”

In addition to the rollout of the app, the company also announced this week the expansion of its management team including the hire of John Tempesco as senior director of healthcare operations and marketing and Malcolm Carson as healthcare business development manager.
