A New Jersey-based senior living provider has launched a new home health care business in Ohio, reports the Dayton Business Journal.
Spring Hills Senior Communities recently kicked off its Spring Hills Home Care Services business line with an office in Beavercreek, Ohio.
The launch is in response to the growing demand of home health services in the region, according to the Journal.
Spring Hills has two assisted living communities in the Dayton, Ohio area.
“Our Spring Hills assisted living properties are at capacity,” Anthony Pusillo, director of home care operations for the company’s northern region, told the Dayton Business Journal. “We see a need to provide a higher level of service to the seniors in the Dayton market as well as help them stay at home longer until they make the transition to assisted living.”
Initial plans call for hiring another full-time employee in the next few month in addition to the business division’s two existing full-time workers. Spring Hills also plans to hire around 100 home health aides and companions on a per diem basis, according to the article.
