ClearCare, a technology company that provides software as a service (SaaS) and mobile tech options to the home health industry has acquired Ontario-based private duty software company HomeTrak, according to a press release Wednesday.
Based in San Francisco, ClearCare will continue to support HomeTrak’s Companion products, which offer private duty agencies a tech platform to integrate various business applications like scheduling, payroll, billing and mapping.
“We’re thrilled to welcome HomeTrak to the ClearCare family,” Geoff Nudd, founder and CEO of ClearCare, said in a press release. “Furthermore, our acquisition of HomeTrak extends ClearCare’s skilled nursing capabilities as well as customer support resources for all of our combined home care agency customers.”
Once the acquisition is complete, HomeTrak will be under the ClearCare brand and will serve over 4,000 home care agencies. There will be offices for the combined company in San Francisco, San Diego and Sarnia, Ontario.
“We share the same commitment to our customers and dedication to innovate and make the delivery of low cost, home based care easier,” Alex Kapteyn, co-founder of HomeTrak, said. “Given ClearCare’s proven track record of innovation and customer support, HomeTrak’s customers are in great hands.”
