Monday Briefing: Kindred Buyout Talks

Happy Monday! We are back from the National Leadership Conference co-hosted by the Visiting Nurse Associations of America (VNAA) and the Alliance for Home Health Quality and Innovation in sunny San Diego last week, and here to get you up to date on the latest news in the industry.

Last week, we kept you in the loop that Kindred Healthcare (NYSE: KND) could be in talks for a full buyout. Read more about it here.

We also covered a controversial court ruling in New York state that could upset 24-hour caregiving. The NY State Supreme Court ruled caregivers have to be paid for sleep and meal times.
