LHC Group Signs Formers Quarterback as National Spokesperson

Lafayette, Louisiana-based LHC Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: LHCG) has signed former professional quarterback Archie Manning as its national spokesperson and ambassador. Manning is a two-time Pro Bowl player and had stints playing with the New Orleans Saints, Houston Oilers and Minnesota Vikings.

Simione Healthcare Consultants has appointed Lisa Green, RN, BS, as a senior manager in sales and marketing consulting with a focus on helping home care and hospice organizations assess and improve referral management.

Green previously served as the director at Reverance Homecare and Hospice/St. Hohn Health Systems, in Clinton Township, Michigan, where she oversaw operations and strategic development. She has also served several years as a board member on the Midwest Care Alliance for Home Healthcare, Hospice and Palliative Care and was elected as secretary of it executive board in 2014.

Between 1987 and 2015, Green served in direct care and leadership roles with Eliza Jennings at Home; Gentiva Health Services; Interim Healthcare; and Pekin Hospital and Specialized Home Care.

Pathway Health Names New Senior Advisor

Douglas Olson, Ph.D., MBA, NHA, FACHCA, has been named senior advisor to Pathway Health, a professional management, consulting, interim management, executive search and education services organization.

He will work closely with Pathway Health’s senior leadership team and clients as they implement the Leadership Environmental and Assessment Diagnostic (LEAD) tool and other management initiatives, resources and supports.

Olson is the creator of the LEAD tool, which is described as a structured reflection that helps senior care organizations’ management teams improve and lead communities to better outcomes. It combines organizational and leadership practices that measure performance of a team through a guided, practical process to identify ways to function better.

Olson is a professor with the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s health care administration program. He is also the director of the Center for Health Administration and Aging Services Excellence. Prior to joining UWEC faculty, he was the community administrator responsible for operations of a long-term care campus in Minnesota. He has 20 years of direct experience working and consulting with health care organizations.

Home Health Care Management Appoints New Controller and Hospice Manager

Pennsylvania-based Home Health Care Management, Inc. (HHCM) has appointed two new positions to serve its family of companies, which include Berks Visiting Nurse Association(VNA), Pottstown VNA and Advantage Home Care. Vicki G. Kelly has been named controller and Diane Lincoln has been named hospice manager.

Kelly is a certified public accountant (CPA) and will be responsible for developing financial strategies that increase revenue and managing the financial performance of the organization. Kelly has 25 years of experience in the health care industry, including financial, advisory and operational expertise. Most recently, she served as controller for 14 years at HomeCare Maryland, LLC, a LifeBridge affiliate in Baltimore.

Lincoln will focus on continued development of the VNA’s growing hospice and palliative program. Her initiatives include improving processes, acquisitions and vendor relationships to ensure residents receive a high level of care. For the past 30 years, Lincoln has worked with Crozer-Keystone Home Health & Hospice Services in Springfield, Pennsylvania, where she helped implement a palliative bridge program from home care to hospice as director of hospice.
