Home Health Foundation Appoints CEO and President

Karen Gomes has been appointed as president and CEO of Lawrence, Massachusetts-based Home Health Foundation, the parent company of its Home Health VNA, Merrimack Valley Hospice and HomeCare Inc. brands, the company reports.

Gomes brings more than 18 years of home health and hospice care experience to her new role. She previously served as vice president of clinical services for Home Health VNA and chief clinical officer of Home Health Foundation. Throughout her tenure with the company, Gomes has spearheaded a variety of patient care projects, as well as the development of care and quality improvement programs. She also possesses a strong knowledge of industry legislative issues and programs.

Prior to her career with Home Health Foundation, she served as executive director of home health services at Northeast Senior Health, overseeing its development of Medicare-certified home health agency.

Daly Named CEO of Sonas Home Health Care Group

Sonas Home Health Care Group has selected industry veteran Patrick Daly as its new CEO, the Delray Beach, Florida-based company reported.

In his new post, Daly will oversee the company’s overall operations and business development efforts, fostering and nurturing its relationships with health care providers across Florida. He will also be charged with directing the alliance of the company’s four operating units—Family Private Care, Levin Home Care, Partners Home Care and Ambassador Health Services—and their reintroduction under the Sonas Home Health Care brand.

Daly has experience in management, sales, marketing and operations within the home health industry. Prior to joining Sonas, he was a member of the management team and division director at Morristown, New Jersey-based Bayada Home Health Care.

Sloop Steps Up to Director Role for SAGE Eldercare

Summit, New Jersey-based SAGE Eldercare has named Alice Sloop as its director of home care, the company reports.

Sloop brings more than 20 years of nursing and administrative experience with home care, geriatrics and dementia-related fields.

Prior to joining SAGE Eldercare, Sloop served as director of nursing for Home Care Assistance, Warren, New Jersey; clinical liaison for Bridgeway Senior Healthcare, Bensenville, Illinois; and vice president of operations for Memory Care Living, Ramsey, New Jersey.

Campagna Appointed VP of Franchise Development for BrightStar Care

Chicago-Based BrightStar Care has appointed franchising veteran David Campagna as its vice president of franchise development, focusing on growing the brand’s domestic foothold.

Campagna’s day-to-day responsibilities include providing strategic leadership and direction to the franchise sales team, and developing communications and recruitment initiatives for prospective franchisees.

Campagna has more than 20 years of experience with franchise development and sales. Prior to joining the team, he worked on business development with Funny Bone Comedy Clubs and Dot.com, as well as other restaurant and home health care franchising organizations.
