AccentCare Expands Joint Venture with Asante

Oregon-based health system Asante has expanded its existing home health joint venture with AccentCare, a Dallas-based home care, home health and hospice care provider. The expansion was effective October 1, 2017, and creates AccentCare Asante Home Health.

The two health care organizations have been in a joint venture for the past eight years. The new relationship incorporates Asante’s Ashland Home Health and creates a preferred provider partnership with AccentCare, spanning Asante’s service area, according to a press release.

PatientPing Partners with North Carolina Hospital Association

PatientPing, a health care coordination technology company that connects providers, has partnered with North Carolina Hospital Association (NCHA) to bring care coordination across the state.

The technology allows providers to receive real-time notifications about whenever and wherever patients receive care, including medicare history.

NCHA is a statewide trade association with more than 130 hospitals and health systems that provide primary care inpatient and outpatient care, rehabilitative services, behavioral health care and post-acute care.

Stonerise at Home Expands Services

Ohio-based home health care provider Stonerise at Home has expanded its services into the Upper Ohio Valley. Stonerise acquired a new territory in Northern West Virginia, southern West Virginia and Eastern Ohio in a purchase from Medical Services of America, which operated as MediHome Health Agency.

All former MediHome employees are working for Stonerise, and Stonerise is not operating out of former MediHome office in New Martinsville, St. Clairsville, Woodsfield and Wintersville, The Weirton Daily Times reported.

Stonerise at Home now offers its services in 31 countries in West Virginia and 12 in Ohio.

Jet Health Inc. Acquires Alpine Plus Home Health

Jet Health, a home health care provider based in Irvine, California, has acquired Alpine Plus Home Health, a home health agency based in Richardson, Texas. Jet Health operates locations in Fort Worth, Texas; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Denver, and Grand Junction, Colorado.

Maria Bacud, the former owner of Alpine Plus, will lead and serve as administrator of the new Jet Health location. Her administrative team and field staff will also remain with the business.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Invo Healthcare Acquires Autism Home Support

Invo Healthcare, a portfolio company of New York City-based firms The Wicks Group, The Jordan Company and Post Capital Partners, acquired Northbrook, Illinois-based Autism Home Support Services (AHSS), which provides home- and center-based applied behavioral analysis therapy to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

AHSS has a combination of home- and center-based behavioral health services in Colorado, Illinois and Michigan.

Pediatric Home Care Sells to Aveanna Healthcare

Spokane Valley, Washington-based Pediatric Home Care announced its sale to Aveanna Healthcare of Atlanta on Tuesday. Pediatric Home Care has provided skilled in-home nursing care for children in the Spokane area for 23 years.

Atlanta-based Aveanna Healthcare, the nation’s largest pediatric home care provider, has 180 locations in 23 states, employing 26,000 caregivers, according to a release announcing the sale.
