The revised Home Health Conditions of Participation (CoPs) go into effect on Jan. 13, 2018. Home health agencies will need to address the many changes in the revised CoPs that impact many departments within their agency. The revised CoPs are focused on a patient-centered, interdisciplinary approach to both assessment and care planning.

Included in the revision are changes to the performance improvement regulations with the introduction of the QAPI program that will require agencies to evaluate organizational-wide performance and create performance improvement activities to improve underperforming areas.

Panelists:

Diane Link RN, MHA – Director of Clinical Services at BlackTree Healthcare Consulting
