Appearing alongside international heavyweights like McDonald’s and Hilton Hotels, several home care companies have made Entrepreneur magazine’s new rankings of the top global franchises.
Interim HealthCare was the top-ranked home care franchise, coming in at No. 19 on the 200-company list.
The list is based on data submitted to Entrepreneur for the publication’s annual Franchise 500 ranking. For this global franchise breakdown, Entrepreneur assigned more weight to international size and growth.
Interim is part of Caring Brands International, which also includes Bluebird Care in the United Kingdom and Just Better Care in Australia. In total, Caring Brands includes more than 530 franchise locations in seven countries. There are about 330 Interim franchises in the United States.
“Combined with the growing number of seniors choosing to age in place and the demand for dependable, high-quality home care services, the home health care industry shows no signs of slowing down,” said Larry Kraska, president and CEO of Interim HealthCare, in a press release issued Thursday.
Interim was joined on the list by seven other home care franchises:
No. 19 – Interim HealthCare
No. 40 – Home Instead
No. 73 – Right at Home
No. 103 – Nurse Next Door
No. 115 – Comfort Keepers
No. 129 – ComForCare Home Care
No. 136 – Home Care Assistance
No. 142 – Homewatch CareGivers
McDonald’s took the top spot overall, followed by 7-Eleven and KFC.
