Overture Home Care hires former school administrator

Fort Worth, Texas-based Overture Home Care has hired a new executive director.

Zachary Tarrant comes to the role with a background in education, previously having served as a principal, administrator and teacher. He will lead the company’s business operations and management of Overture’s headquarters, allowing CEO Denise Helms to focus on growth and strategy.

Overture provides advanced home care to seniors in north Texas. The agency decided to add an executive director to its team after rapid growth created the need for one.

“Zach’s education administration leadership background is an ideal fit for this role and our business,” Helms said in a press release. “As our company grows and our reach expands, it’s critical to have someone with Zach’s experience leading the daily administration of our business, while the balance of our executive team continues to nurture their strategic roles.”

Overture’s leadership team now includes Tarrant, Helms, COO Rob Helms and Executive Vice President Paige Wolk.

Iredell Home Health names new director

The home health division of Statesville, North Carolina-based Iredell Health System has a new leader.

Linda Thompson has been named the new director of Iredell Home Health. She comes to the position after previously serving as interim director, assistant director and working at the health system since 2012. She also briefly worked as a nurse there early in her career.

Iredell Health is a locally owned and managed nonprofit health system that includes a hospital, a skilled nursing facility, a home health unit and other divisions.

In her new role, Thompson will be responsible for the home health agency’s clinical function, financial oversight and quality of care.

Androscoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice Gets New Home Care Head

Androscoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice, based in Lewiston, Maine, has a new director of home care.

Lisa Avery got the job after working as a clinical supervisor for the company. She joined Androscoggin in 2016. 

Androscoggin is one of Maine’s largest independent, nonprofit home health care organizations. It provides home health, hospice and care management services. 

“We are confident that Lisa will lead an exemplary home health care team as she has demonstrated in her role as the former clinical supervisor in our Wilton office,” Androscoggin CEO Ken Albert said in a press release. “Lisa, with over a decade of director-level leadership is exceptionally suited to take the lead of our home care services, one of the largest departments of the organization.”
