Regulatory Update:

For home-based care providers, the on-the-ground COVID-19 situation is changing on a daily -- sometimes even hourly -- basis. And the fast-paced policy moves from Congress and the Trump administration reflect that constantly shifting landscape.

So far, for example, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has expanded its advanced payments program, lifted certain homebound requirements and created flexibility for the use of telehealth. The agency also started paying out “no strings attached” emergency payments to all Medicare providers.

Meanwhile, on Capitol Hill, lawmakers opened the door for non-physician certification through the $2 trillion CARES Act.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Led by two policy experts, this webinar will go over these and other topics, breaking down everything home-based care providers need to know to stay financially viable during the coronavirus emergency.

Tune into this webinar to learn:

  • What steps CMS has taken to support home health providers (and how those changes impact your bottom line)
  • Why providers are calling for further telehealth initiatives, including direct reimbursement for remote visits
  • How non-medical home care providers are being affected on the labor front
  • And more!
