Texas’ Jordan Health Services Merges with Dominion Care Home Health

San Antonio’s Dominion Care Home Health has taken on the name Jordan Health Services (JHS), after the companies merged earlier this month.

The merger, made official Aug. 13, is seen by JHS as an opportunity for the company to expand in the San Antonio market and increase its home care patient base. Both companies also see this as a way to support CMS’ Partnership for Patient Program that aims to improve the quality, safety and affordability of health care.

JHS is based in Mount Vernon, Tex. and provides home care services to Medicaid and Medicare eligible patients throughout Texas. The company serves more than 14,000 clients daily.

Dominion was founded in 2001 and will bring the eight counties it serves to the new collaboration.

Administrator of JHS, Adrian Martinez, LVN will continue leading the companies and Dominion founders Elcee Cortez and David Cortez will provide transitional, development, and clinical oversight support.
